Acoustic Artists of the Month

The featured acoustic music artists of the month are The Unseen Strangers, Harpeth Rising  and Juke Joint Jonny.

The Unseen Strangers is a modern Bluegrass band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He won Best Folk Award for his song "Dance Around My Atom Fire". they won Best Country/Bluegrass at the 9th Annual IAMA with their song "Ramber's Plea".

Harpeth Rising is a quartet that blends Folk, Bluegrass and Traditional Classical music.

Juke Joint Jonny is a traditional Blues man, Band Leader,Singer, Songwriter and Historian. This artist is a modern day Robert Johnson.

Established in 2004, IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) promotes the art and excellence in acoustic music performance and artistry. Judging is based on excellence in music performance, songwriting/composition and originality. Winners are selected by a panel of established artists and industry professionals. Other past winners include: AJ Croce (2013 Winner), Maddy Rodriguez (2012 Winner), David Francey (2011 Winner), Liz Longley (2010 Winner), The Refugees (2009 Winner), UK singer-songwriter Charlie Dore (2008 winner). Charlie Dore is most famous in the United States for her 1980 pop single, "Pilot of the Airwaves," which hit Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts and shot to international worldwide fame.
